Christina Morgan, Founder & President
Christina is a full time professional Realtor with Virtual Properties Realty helping families make educated decisions in the buying and selling process. Being a Realtor is not just a job, it’s a relationship based on honesty, trust and respect. Christina is a graduate of Indiana University Purdue University with a strong background in sales and customer service. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother who advocates for her husband every single day. Cancer Connections was created on the belief that no one should have to face cancer alone and without the necessary support—whether it be emotional encouragement, financial assistance, or access to reliable information to navigate their journey with confidence and hope. My primary role is supporting our mission while making sure our organization and operation stays connected to patients and their families.

Tamara Wyche Mobley, Vice President
Tamara was diagnosed with a blood cancer, multiple myeloma, November 2009; and today she is a resilient “multiple myeloma thriver”. Over the course of her cancer journey Tamara has undergone a stem cell transplant, participated in Phase 1 clinical trials, while being a wife and mother, working full-time in Tech. Tamara encourages positive thinking and credits her spirituality and support system for allowing her to live a normal, and purpose driven life. She believes multiple myeloma has fueled her purpose to inspire hope, spread awareness, and change the face of cancer.

Wendy Verdon, Treasurer
Wendy has a background in Finance with the State of Georgia and is also an Associate Broker with RE/MAX Town & Country. When I was much younger, my mom was diagnosed with colon and then liver cancer. My parents did not have medical insurance during this time. My dad tried to get help through a cancer agency and they would not help them at all. So, I saw first hand how expensive it is for treatments and having no where to turn to for help. Years later I lost my dad to lung cancer. Cancer Connections is very close to my heart.

She believes in the power of compassion and action to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I’m guided by a strong sense of empathy, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
